Monday’s free guided meditation for Xmas Overwhelm was just gorgeous.

We worked on feeling safe, connecting to truth and forgiveness, and listening to and trusting our intuition (plus a bit of expression work to help us protect our boundaries!).
All while basking in the glow of unconditional love and giving ourselves permission to feel joy.

Can You Love Winter, though?
In other news, we’re about to ‘officially’ enter Winter, which is the elemental season of Water (Summer is Fire and Autumn is Metal).
Within all of us we have 5 elements - wood, fire, earth, metal and water - I particularly love Water as it represents your ability to just be!
If your water is in balance, you will feel able to accept what is and who you are. Too much water and you can come across as arrogant or cocky, too little and you can feel scared.
Winter isn’t a season I normally enjoy.
I’m pretty ‘watery’ - quick to cry and affected by fear if my water levels are out of balance - so I’ve always found the run up to Christmas really quite overwhelming. And moving into the New Year… fear would take over. New year, new me ruled my Januarys.
Now that I’m much more balanced (out of anxiety and fight/flight - and it hasn’t escaped my attention that water played a HUGE part in me healing) it makes sense that I’m finally feeling settled in December.
I feel able to relax more, enjoy the sparkles and gift buying, hell, I’ve even taken on an elf on the shelf 🤪
Now, I say this not as a brag (because there will be moments I need to take a hot sec to breathe through discomfort), but for anyone still in the middle of the trauma and fear. Not every year will be like this and soon you’ll will come out of the otherside 🫶✨
